Ask a Midwife cannot diagnose any specific condition or disorder through email contact. Any urgent concerns or problems should be investigated straight away by the clients practitioner. Examples include:
Reduced fetal movements
Vaginal Bleeding
Abdominal pain
Chronic Itching, especially on palms of hands and feet
Generally feeling unwell
Ask a midwife is unable to assume how the event of labour and birth will unfold, guidance can be given to possibilities and choices pertaining to pain relief, positions in labour
ask a midwife is designed to support clients who have non urgent problems.
